This is to inform the general public that the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the date for the commencement of the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry registrations.

According to the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), registration for the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) will commence from Monday, 15th January 2024, to Monday, 26th February 2024. E-PIN vending for UTME begins on Monday, 8th January 2024 and ends on Saturday, 24tth February 2024, while registration closes on Monday, 26th February 2024.
Candidates are expected to print their examination slips as of Wednesday, 10th April 2024. Candidates are enjoined to take note of these dates and other advisories issued by the Board in relation to the administration of the examination. They are also to visit the Board’s website at www.jamb.gov.ng for any other information.
Please note that registration for JAMB UTME can only be performed only at JAMB-accredited centres and JAMB State-Offices. For your safety, don’t patronize any Cybercafé or computer centres other than the ones published by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
2024 JAMB Direct Entry Registration Date
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Direct Entry registration and E-PIN vending will commence from Wednesday, 28th February 2024, to Thursday, 28th March 2024.
According to the board, Direct Entry (DE) candidates will be required to take part in cognitive and verbal reasoning tests as from 2024.
JAMB will conduct Aptitude Test for all Direct Entry candidates to assess their academic potential or career suitability, as well as their mental or physical capacity. The aptitude test would comprise of Verbal, Abstract, Mechanical, Numeric Reasoning, Data Checking, and Work Sampling.
All Direct Entry candidates are required to provide the following information: Registration/Matriculation Number of the previous school attended where the qualification was obtained; Subjects of qualification; Awarding Institution; Institution attended; and Year of graduation as well as admission letters where necessary.

2024 JAMB UTME Examination Date
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has fixed Friday, 19th April 2024, for the conduct of the 2024 UTME which is expected to end on Monday, 29th April 2024.
The board also fixed Thursday, 7th March 2024, for the conduct of its optional mock UTME.

2024 JAMB UTME General Entry Requirements
The general entry requirements for admission into the First Degree, National Diploma (ND), National Innovation Diploma (NID), and Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) programmes in Universities, other degree-awarding Institutions, Monotechnics, Polytechnics, Innovation Enterprise Institutions and Colleges of Education are five (5) O’Level Credit passes including Mathematics and English Language.
